The Balochistan Government Postpones Inter Annual Exams. The decision has been taken due to the third wave of coronavirus pandemic. Earlier the Balochistan board of intermediate and secondary education had announced that the HSSC exams will be commenced from 25th May 2021 but now Balochistan Government Postpones Inter Annual Exams across the province and the concerned authorities will issue the revised schedule for the commencement of the exams. According to the sources, the exams are expected to be held in the month of June. The candidates are informed that the annual exams will be conducted as per the provided schedule and the students will not be promoted without the exams.
Statement of Shafqat Mahmood
The federal minister for education and professional training, Shafqat Mahmood had earlier announced that all the board exams will be postponed till 15th June. Moreover, the Cambridge exams had also been postponed because of the ongoing situation of the COVID-19. The minister had issued the statement as per the suggestion of the national command and operation Centre. The meeting of NCOC was held on 18th April in which the decision regarding the postponement of exams had been taken as the cases of the coronavirus had increased rapidly.
Conduction Of Exams
According to the announcement made by the education minister the exams of the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12 classes that were scheduled to be held in the last week of May could not be conducted. The matric and intermediate exams will take place after 15th June and will continue till July/August as per the schedule issued by the board authorities. It has been also announced that the annual exams of 10th and 12th classes will be held first as the students have to take admission in the colleges and the universities so the priority will be given to these exams followed by the annual exams of 9th and11th classes. The schedule for the conduction of SSC and HSSC exams 2021 will be declared soon by the respective officials.
