What do you eat the day after Thanksgiving?

Leftover Turkey Sandwich from Thanksgiving

When we enter Thanksgiving, our eyeballs are bombarded with turkey and cranberries, arguing whether you are talking about “stuffing” or “seasoning”. I want to talk about some interesting things…

…This is the food that happens external A feast, such as the day after Thanksgiving, when you want to make the most of your leftovers, or the weekend when you are tired of beige and buttery foods and craving completely different flavors. (Joanna’s friends always plan to eat lasagna for this reason.)

Personally, I like leftover sandwiches very much (pictured above: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce piled on top of high-quality white bread, topped with gravy), but turkey pie follows Afterwards. I also joined the lasagna team-I always hide a pile of Italian prepared foods (lasagna, eggplant burritos, parm chicken, manicotti) in the refrigerator, ready to cook on weekends. Used when it becomes very, very real.

how about you? Tell me the strategies and recipes you rely on for the long weekend. I really want to know……

PS Fun things to do after Thanksgiving dinner and a series of special but absolutely weird Thanksgiving dishes.

(Sean Locke for Stokes.)
