My skin journey has gone Hell and come back. When I grew up, I had terrible acne and never applied sunscreen (I think I didn’t even have sunscreen), so when I was in my teens and early 20s, I left acne scars, sunburns, Enlarged pores and combined skin. Naively, I thought that covering my face with makeup would hide my skin problems, which would actually make the situation worse. No one told me that the secret to perfect makeup is healthy skin. It wasn’t until I turned 21 that I finally understood the basic basics and the best skin care products needed to form a solid skin care routine: cleansers, retinol, vitamin C, and moisturizer/SPF.
It is undeniable that our 20s may be an embarrassing period for the skin. At this age, many of us (including myself) still get acne often, and are also working hard to correct sunburn and prevent signs of aging—a lot!this Retinol and Vitamin C combination It’s a great choice because it covers prevention and correction-just make sure to seal it with moisturizer and of course, apply sunscreen! For me, starting from a small skin care routine feels like it is achievable to go beyond the 14-step method that was popular at the time.As someone who thinks St. Ives is a skin care product, these four essentials have helped me create the right foundation and give my skin the desired effect Actually need. After incorporating these four main products into my skin care routine, I started applying toner, exfoliants, boosters and moisturizers.
If your skin is prone to acne, toners and exfoliants can maintain the oil balance and reduce the appearance of pores.I would also like to say that one of the biggest game changers for my skin comes from Lifestyle changesAfter quitting gluten, dairy products, limiting alcohol, increasing the amount of water I drink, and ensuring that I have enough sleep, my acne disappeared and my skin looked younger and more elastic. (*Editor’s note: Please consult your health doctor or doctor before making any major dietary changes, but this worked for me.)
At the age of 28, I finally feel that my skin is good, and my goal remains the same: to correct and prevent while improving texture and tone. Due to the nature of my job, I tested more than 1,000 skin care brands and products, so I decided to pick the best (in my opinion!). So, keep reading to discover the skin care products I squeeze and scrape until the last drop.
*Please note that although I have listed all of these products that I use here, you certainly don’t need to buy all of these products. When it comes to skin care, all you really need are quality cleansers, toners/serums, moisturizers and sunscreens-that’s all! For me, this is all about investing in quality rather than quantity.
